TPMS Service Parts — OE quality from an OE Supplier
Our TPMS Service Parts Program includes everything technicians need to service TPMS-equipped vehicles – from complete sensor assemblies to service kits that include valve cores, valve nuts, seals, seal washers, and valve caps. We offer complete coverage for U.S., Asian, and European vehicles.
We design, manufacture, and supply TPMS to OEMs
We are one of the industry's leading manufacturers of TPMS. Our replacement parts are built with the same quality standards and precision as the TPMS units we supply to automakers, and they have the OE look, fit, and function. TPMS is a valuable safety system for today's drivers. Proper maintenance of these systems and their parts is essential to getting all the benefits they can provide.
Service requirements
The TPMS includes five service parts - a valve core, valve nut, valve cap, seal, and seal washer. Although the tire sensor assembly only needs to be replaced if it fails or is damaged, the service parts need to be replaced every time a tire is dismounted or serviced, as recommended by the manufacturer. Standard tire valves cannot be used on TPMS-equipped tires.
The use of tire pressure monitoring systems has been mandated by law
Tire pressure monitoring systems are designed to monitor the air pressure in tires. If pressure drops more than 25% below the vehicle manufacturer's recommended cold inflation tire pressure, the TPMS sends a warning to the vehicle's on-board monitoring system. The TREAD Act, passed by Congress in 2000, mandates that all light vehicles built after August 2007 must be equipped with a low tire pressure warning system. Millions of vehicles on the road today already have TPMS, and their numbers are rising dramatically as automakers gear up to meet the mandate. As a result, the need for TPMS replacement and service parts will continue to increase.
