Acceleration satellite gSat
gSat is the tried and tested market standard for front crash sensors and is integrated into the ACU, as well as into the front of the car (Early Crash Sensor ECS). In conjunction with the pressure satellite (psat), it offers an optimal solution for the recognition of side impacts.
The proven quality and reliability of the unit have led it to be of further use in pedestrian protection endeavours. Since 1996, more than 100 million of our gsat and psat units have been produced.
