Critical traffic situations can develop when vehicles are not seen in the blind spot. We have developed innovative solutions to minimize the risk, in the form of a high performance 24 GHz dual-beam radar sensor installed in the rear bumper that enhances the driver's rearward vision:
Blind Spot Detection (BSD) and Lane Change Assist (LCA). Blind Spot Detection delivers information on whether a vehicle is present in the blind spot, out of the view of the driver, and can therefore make driving easier and more pleasant, especially in city traffic.
Lane Change Assist is the ideal addition to Blind Spot Detection and adds to more driving comfort on highways.
