SIEMENS VDO NAMED TO FORD'S ABF FAMILY OF SUPPLIERS

Siemens VDO has been nominated to Ford Motor Co.'s coveted Aligned Business Framework (ABF) family of suppliers. The company is one of 59 strategic supplier partners in Ford's ABF supply chain.
"In the challenging global automotive business environment, strong partnerships are needed to be successful," said Siemens VDO Vice President and Key Account Executive Julian Dench, who is responsible for global product sales to Ford. "One way Ford rewarded Siemens VDO for committing to building a stronger, more successful partnership was nominating us to the ABF family of suppliers."
Approximately a year-and-a-half ago Ford began entering into ABF agreements with select suppliers to strengthen collaboration and develop a sustainable business model to drive mutual profitability and technology development.
Siemens VDO's relationship with Ford Motor Co. is an excellent example of a strong partnership poised to help bring greater global success and improved business health to both organizations.
