HUMAN MACHINE INTERFACE CENTER STAGE AT WARD'S INTERIORS SHOW

DETROIT, June 06, 2007

Siemens VDO's Vice President of the North American Interiors Electronics Solutions Group Frank Homann will discuss Improving the Human Machine Interface (HMI) at the Ward's Auto Interiors Exposition and Conference on Wednesday, June 7, 2007 at Cobo Center in Detroit.  At the two-day program, leading authorities from the leading car companies will speak on the four key elements – design, electronics, safety and interior ergonomics – affecting vehicle sales and brand differentiation as interiors has become a crucial factor to consumer buying.

 
 

Homann will present during the Improving the Human Machine Interface session from 8:30 a.m. – 9:20 a.m., a Telematics and Multimedia track that will look ahead at future technologies and examine the challenges and trends balancing functionality with safety.  Homann is responsible for guiding Siemens VDO's strategy to develop integrated electronics business in the North American market.


The Interior Electronics Solutions Group (IES) encompasses Human Machine Interface (HMI), design, styling, electrical and mechanical system architectures to provide innovative, cost-saving solutions linking consumer electronics and automotive interiors.
