The piezo unit injector system integrates the pump function and injection nozzle into a single assembly driven directly off the camshaft. This system enables the highest injection pressures yet achieved in the car sector (over 2000 bar).
Our unit injection technology, combined with the latest in electronic engine management, enables lower combustion noise, reduced emissions, and better fuel economy. The fine atomization of the fuel delivers greater thermodynamic efficiency and higher torque for a given size of engine.
