CESAR
Mobile proof of system integration concept
CESAR (Cockpit Electro-Mechanical System Architecture) is based on our concept of mechatronic system integration, which involves integrated development of mechanical and electronic cockpit components. This leads to shorter development and production times, thereby accelerating time to market, while also making greater product reliability and enhanced quality possible. System integration also frees up space and reduces the number of components, leading to a significantly lower weight. The result is more room to implement ideas and the potential for considerable cost reductions.
CESAR includes a number of ground breaking innovations, ranging from an exceptionally light yet stable magnesium main structure to a flexible three-piece modular design. A centrally controlled, space-saving E/E architecture that builds on a server-server-client model opens up exciting new opportunities, as does the user-friendly HMI concept.
