Success, for me, is the best engine. Being aware that I’m working on something meaningful. Sharing the feeling: “We need it, we want it and we’ll do it!” – that’s enormously satisfying. It’s not just that we want to achieve a competitive advantage.
What matters most is keeping our customers so satisfied that they keep giving us more work. And to make that happen it takes more than just being good – being better than others. We’ve got to be even better than we ourselves were in the past. For us, as engineers, that's a recurrent and demanding challenge.
Sounds like a lot of pressure? Okay, sometimes it is. But to persuade ourselves, after a lot of hard work, with a product that’s just plain better – for me, at least, that’s a thrill that motivates me to get to my desk every morning.
